I got interested in this sport in 1991. At that time I liked a driver by the name of Davey Allison. After Davey died in a helicopter accident, I went looking for another driver to follow. So in 1993 I decided to follow a driver that would be the highest rookie in the points standing. That driver was Jeff Gordon and he won the 1993 Rookie of the Year. I have his Rookie of the Year plaque on my wall. I was delighted to see Jeff win the Championship in 1995 and almost won it in 1996. I think Jeff will become one of the all time great drivers.
